Paschal 2013 State Wrestling TournementBrieanna Newman competed in the 2013 5A State Wrestling Tournament held in Austin Texas on February 21-23. Brieanna went 2-2 at the tournament which puts her in the top 8 of her 102 pound weight class. Although she just missed the podium, Brieanna finished with an impressive 36 and 26 pins during her Senior year.  Arlington High School Tournament ResultsThe boys Varsity and Junior Varsity Wrestling Team competed at the Arlington High School this past weekend. Randy Gonzales was the top placer for the Panthers with a 1st place finish in the Varsity Boys 195 lbs weight class. Other notable finishes consist of the following wrestlers: Varsity Ruben Barrera placed 3rd in the 113 pound weight class. Junior Varsity Gustavo Caceres placed 1st in the 195 pound weight class Brandon Serna placed 3rd in the 120 pound weight class Dario Crispin placed 3rd in the 138 pound weight class Jonathan Carrillo placed 3rd in the 145 pound weight class Ben Lee placed 4th in the 152 pound weight class Christian Jenkins placed 4th in the 170 pound weight class  | Girls Frisco Lonestar High School Tournament ResultsThe girls Varsity Wrestling program competed at the Ranger Rumble hosted by Lonestar High School this past Saturday. The girls pulled out an impressive 3rd place team finish despite only having six girls competing as varsity wrestlers. Notable finishes consist of the following wrestlers:
Brieanna Newman placed 1st in the 102 pound weight class Kathryn Newman placed 1st in the 119 pound weight class Sarah James placed 3rd in the 128 pound weight class Bailey Morris placed 3rd in the 148 pound weight class Angelina Avitia placed 4th in the 165 pound weight class  |
